A 6 generations company

There have been GIRAUDON stonemasons and contractors for 6 generations and in 1927 Germain Gaston GIRAUDON formed the company which would become GIRAUDON TP.

Mr GIRAUDON was a founding member of the French organisation for public construction works, the Fédération Nationale des Travaux Publics.

In 1931, his company received the first self-propelled power shovel on caterpillar tracks with a heat engine, imported into France (brand: BAY-CITY).

After his son, Pierre GIRAUDON, his grandson, Pierre Eric GIRAUDON took over.
This family company, with its current head office in MENTHON SAINT BERNARD, LAKE ANNECY (FRANCE), is a specialist in the laying of rock fill in rivers as well as repairing sills, retaining walls and building stone for private homes.

We are authorized for blasting and carry out all demolitions and excavations using a stone crusher.
We also perform excavations for private houses with all the related roads and external works as well as putting in channels for utilities.
